Terms and Conditions 

Definitions

  1. This document describes the Privacy Policy of A.C.N 664 629 216 Pty Ltd, trading as Denttech Dental Lab (Australia), also known as ‘DentTech, ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’ or ‘it’) and its related body corporate.
  2. We reserve the right to add to, delete, or change these terms at any time. Any changes to our terms and conditions will be published on our website at denttechdental.com.au and you should refer to the the website from time to time for any such changes.

Acceptance

  1. Any instruction received by DentTech from the customer for the supply of goods and services shall constitute acceptance of the terms and conditions contained herein.
  2. Upon acceptance of these terms and conditions by the customer, the terms and conditions are binding and can only be amended with the written consent of DentTech

Credit Terms

  1. DentTech reserves the right not to accept an order for goods and services from a customer.
  2. Credit is provided to the customer at the sole discretion of DentTech, and can be withdrawn at any time. DentTech reserves the right to request payment in advance from a customer.

Price & Payment

  1. The price of the goods and services provided shall be detailed in writing by DentTech to the customer. Prices are subject to change without notification. A current price list can be obtained by contacting DentTech.
  2. GST and other taxes shall be added to the price, in accordance with relevant legislation.
  3. Where credit has been provided by DentTech, invoices are due for payment thirty (30) days from the statement date. Any balances outstanding over 30 days of the statement date may incur interest, administration charges, and complete loss of the manufacturing guarantee/warranty of the product.
  4. Payment can be made by credit card; electronic funds transfer or cheque. American Express credit cards currently incur a 2.6% surcharge.

Service

  1. All items sent from DentTech have been decontaminated according to the Dental Board of Australia Guidelines for infection control.
  2. All items sent to DentTech must be decontaminated according to the Dental Board of Australia Guidelines for infection control.
  3. The customer is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of jobs sent to DentTech for processing. DentTech takes no responsibility for jobs that are delayed, damaged, or lost in transit to DentTech. The customer is responsible for payment of all delivery costs to DentTech.
  4.  Normal turnaround times for jobs range from 7-10 in-lab days, depending on the product, from when DentTech receives the parcel. This is conditional on there being no delays as a result of factors beyond our control. Cases may take longer than the standard turnaround time when there are technical queries from the DentTech technicians, potential problems to discuss, or where photographs
    are requested by the customer. Implant cases take longer to manufacture.
  1. An express turnaround is available for certain products on request and attracts an additional charge of 25% of the normal price. Express turnaround is not available for Implant cases.
  2. DentTech is responsible for delivering completed work back to the customer.
  3. DentTech will only make delivery of completed work to the business address of the customer. DentTech will not deliver completed work to a residential address.
  4. Where an order has been received by DentTech and the manufacturing process has begun, any requests to cancel or change an order may incur a charge where labour and material costs have been incurred. DentTech will confirm in writing any associated costs.

Policies & Warranty

  1. NO-FAULT REMAKE POLICY: DentTech Dental Lab is pleased to process all remakes or adjustments at no additional charge if requested within the warranty period and accompanied by the return of the original appliance and full payments are received for the specific product within 30 days of the statement date. Failure to do so will result in a complete loss of Warranty/Guarantee.
  2.  LIMITED WARRANTY/LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. DentTech Dental Lab (“the lab”) warrants that all dental devices (a “device”) are made according to your specification and approval in the belief that the device will be useful and MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
    PURPOSE. This limited-performance warranty shall apply to direct end-user customers (treating clinicians) only. Subject to the return of a device that is placed and then fails, the lab will repair or replace the device without charge for the cost of materials and workmanship or refund the original price paid, at the lab’s option, for up to

    1. 5 years for crowns and bridges.
    2. 6 Months for acrylic base and Denture teeth, 5 years for Milled Components, (Implantology).
    3. 6 Months for acrylic base and Denture teeth, 2 years for Metal frames, (Removable Prosthodontics).
    4. 3 Months Orthodontics appliances.

Limited Warranty Terms

  • The Warranty is valid for the following products only (Products) from the date of the original invoice to the customer for the period specified below, and DentTech warrants the quality of the product supplied as set out below on the strict understanding that it has been used in a suitable manner, for the purpose intended and that payment has been received in full within 30 days of the statement date. Failure to do so will result in a complete loss of Warranty/Guarantee.
  • The damaged Product must be returned to DentTech for inspection.
  • DentTech will assess the Product to determine, in its sole judgment, whether a full or partial refund or replacement product will be provided.
  • DentTech reserves the right to void the Warranty if, in its sole judgment, the damage to the Product has not been caused as a result of the manufacturing process.
  • The Warranty is offered to dentists who have sourced the Products from DentTech and is not intended to exclude or limit any rights or remedies a consumer may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Medical Advice

  1. DentTech will provide goods or services to the customer based on the order sheet provided by the customer, and may from time to time discuss the case with the customer through email, telephone or in person. The customer acknowledges that such discussions, and any representations by DentTech, should be used merely as a guide rather than a definitive recommendation to adopt any specific
    action or treatment. Nothing transmitted in the course of such discussions shall constitute the establishment of a doctor-client-patient relationship between the customer and DentTech. Responsibility for the diagnosis of a medical condition, and the prescription of treatment planning or medicines, rests solely with the customer.

Governing Law

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. No action or proceeding may be commenced or maintained in relation to the site, the Services or these Terms except in a court of appropriate jurisdiction in the Commonwealth of Australia.

Intellectual property

  1. The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of DentTech and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the Australian and foreign countries. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of DentTech.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall DentTech, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

Privacy Notice

A.C.N 664 629 216 Pty Ltd, trading as Denttech Dental Lab (Australia), also known as ‘DentTech, collects personal information about you to provide products and services. If your personal information is not collected, we may not be able to do those things. DentTech may disclose personal information about you to our manufacturing partners and other third-party service providers such as our marketing partners. Some of these parties may be located overseas, If you provide us with information about another person, you must provide them with a copy of this Privacy Notice.

Our Privacy Policy contains information on how you can access or seek correction of the personal information we hold about you, how you can make a privacy complaint, and how we will deal with your complaint.
